Birthday Party

The cool thing about being abroad for your birthday is that you get to celebrate it twice; first on the actual birthday (I was born in China so it is the same time zone), and then a day later with all my family and friends in the U.S. via the internet. The day after my birthday celebration with my school friends, I went over to my family friend’s house for a good evening. I am so thankful for all my nice friends here in Japan.

The weather was really good and we were able to walk her dog, Paro. She is a Border Collie who is super smart and cute. I loved the park we were in because there are so many cats, like at least 20, so I got to pet them all. I really wish I lived near that park.

She even surprised me with a cake! Somehow she knew my favorite fruit was strawberry, as it was strawberry shortcake. It was so delicious!

みんな、私のお誕生日を楽しくしていただき、ありがとうございました!I won’t see my family friends for awhile now as I have to go back home soon. But I probably will see them next year, so until then I will keep in touch on Line. Thanks to everyone who made my birthday weekend special!
